3D Letters, dimensional letters

A private retreat nestled among the rolling hills of North County San Diego, Emerald Heights is an oasis of connections, friendship, great neighbors, and ease from the pace of life – an idyllic environment for a fantastic way of living.  This 24/7 gated community with security offers the perfect family environment! Consistent and fun social gatherings bring Emerald Heights family and friends together, as one of our members recently said, “There’s no other place in all of California that I’d want to live and raise a family than Emerald Heights!”

Monument Dimensional Letters

Escondido Highlands Monument Letter

So, when Emerald Heights asked Signs for San Diego to recreate the monument faces in Aluminum, we were happy to help.  We did the original faces nearly 10 years ago out of PVC.  PVC is a cost-effective material and wore pretty well, but over the years we replaced several broken letters.  When the time came for refurbishing the monuments, they wanted a more durable material – Aluminum.  Aluminum is widely used in signs, it does not rust, is ridged and durable.  The PVC would bend to the curve on the monument, thick aluminum does not.  We cut in a seam or relief for the longer letters.

The paint is also the ultimate in durability, it is a Matthews paint system that is the industry standard for signs. With a matte finish and a primer, it will resist sun fad, pealing and all other aging for years. In many ways it is more durable that the base coat, clear coat found on cars.  It is always a pleasure to work with Emerald Heights.  We would love to work with you as well.
