This monument is a Hybrid of fabricated/welded and push-through acrylic letters. It is a Carlsbad Sign.

We Build Monument Signs

Orblu’s future biopharma manufacturing facility is in here in Carlsbad, CA. Right in the heart of the Southern California Biotech Center, it is a showplace of technology. Carlsbad is one of the best areas in San Diego and San Diego represents the fastest growing area of the Biopharma industry. The brand-new facility serves as an industry learning site and caters to every training need in Biopharma.

A monument sign that suits Orblu marks the center’s entrance. This sign is constructed from aluminum but is far from a plain box. It has a unique shape with the name as a part of the structure. This level of metal working is unusual. It also has an acrylic pattern, that is unique to Orblu, but also required some high-level manufacturing.

It was painted with Signs for San Diego’s paint system, choosing a spot-on color match, and adding durability to the result. I, Frank Murch was born in Honolulu. Dad was an Army Captain. After his separation he drove my 2-year-old self and Mom to Colorado. After starting Kindergarten and terrorizing my parents, brother and sister for 20 years, I graduated both Kindergarten and the University of Colorado. I worked at Coors Porcelain for a time and then a series of high-tech companies in California, Pennsylvania, New York, and Tokyo. Along the way I gathered letters to drag behind my name MSEng, MBA. 30 years later I started Signs for San Diego. Signs for San Diego is a manufacturing company. Much more about building signs than other Sign Companies; it comes from my background. Technical Capability is a focus. We are a wholesale source for the industry. We want to make the best sign possible. It is in my DNA. Applying 30 years of manufacturing experience and 10 years of entrepreneurial experience make us the best sign company around.
